Shipping Options

Kidching offers two primary shipping methods:

1. Postage

  • Pre-paid shipping labels generated by Kidching. We offer tracked services from:
    • DPS
    •  InPost
    • Evri

These options provide enhanced protection for both buyers and sellers.

2. In Person Collection

  • Available only if the seller specifies this option in the item’s listing.

 

Shipping Costs

  • Responsibility: Buyers are responsible for shipping costs.
  • Calculation: Shipping fees are automatically added at checkout based on the selected delivery method.

 

Dispatch & Delivery Times

  • Seller Handling Time: Sellers have up to 6 days to dispatch an item after a sale.
  • Courier Delivery Time: Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 2–5 working days.
  • Note: Delivery times may vary due to weekends, national holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.


Tracking Your Order

  • If a pre-paid shipping label is used, buyers can track their orders via the “Track Your Item” page within the Kidching app, providing real-time updates from the courier.

Packaging Guidelines

  • Preparation:
    • Take clear photos of the item before packing.
    • Use sturdy and appropriately sized packaging materials.
    • Ensure fragile items are well-protected to prevent damage during transit.
    • Securely attach the shipping label using tape, ensuring the barcode is clearly visible and accessible.
    • Remove or cover any old labels to avoid confusion.
    • Important: If an item is damaged due to inadequate packaging, Kidching reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a refund to the buyer.

  • International Shipping: Currently, Kidching’s shipping options are mainland UK only.
  • There are a few postcodes we currently do not ship to:
    • Aberdeen – AB35-AB38, AB53-AB56
    • Falkirk – FK17-FK22
    • Outer Hebrides – All HS postcodes
    • Isle of Man – All IM postcodes
    • Inverness – All IV postcodes
    • Kilmarnock – KA27-KA28
    • Kirkwall – All KW postcodes
    • Paisley – PA17-PA18, PA20-PA38, PA41-PA80
    • Portsmouth – PO30-PO33, PO35-PO41
    • Truro – TR21-TR25
    • Shetland – All ZE postcodes
    • Northern Ireland – All BT postcodes
  • Shipping Delays: While most deliveries occur within the estimated timeframes, delays can happen due to factors beyond our control, such as courier issues or adverse weather conditions.
